Applying for Membership
1. Read through Elphinstone Aero Club's constitution, bylaws, and the policy and procedure manual and contact us ([email protected]) with any questions.
2. All applicants complete a membership application form and flying member applicants a pilot information sheet.
Submit to [email protected].
3. Application will be forwarded to Board of Directors for approval. If applying for flying
membership, you will be given an insurance information form to be completed so you can be included on the aircraft insurance policy.
4. Stay involved! Once approved as a member please feel free to come to our BBQs, general meetings, and get involved in the discussions and resources on the Members
Only area of the website.

NONFLYING MEMBERS
1. Non-flying yearly membership is presently $100.
2. Once approved by the Board of Directors, the applicant will be advised.
> Payment should then be sent to the treasurer, by e-transfer if possible

> Cheque payable to Elphinstone Aero Club (Elphinstone Aero Club, 4540 Hilltop Road, Sechelt BC V7Z 0A8)
3. The new member will be given the password to the Members Only part of our website. The member should then change their password in case the initial access is changed. Access to our airplane scheduling software (Flight Circle) will also be arranged.

FLYING MEMBERS
1. Flying Membership is presently the Non-Flying Membership, $100, plus an additional $300 (reduced to $200 for subsequent years). An additional non-refundable deposit for 5 flying hours (presently $900) is required to be flown each fiscal year.
2. Once approved by the Board of Directors, payment ($1300) will be due the treasurer, payment options listed above under Non-Flying Members.
Access to websites, as listed above, will be arranged.
3. Flying members will be contacted by the Director of Flight Operations to review Pilot
Information Sheet, given a copy of the check-ride exercises to be reviewed, and
schedule a check-ride.
